Jeremy Carter aka Doey Buff

Jeremy Carter (b. 1989, Detroit, Michigan) is a Chicago based painter & fiber artist that centers their work around found objects. Through up sourcing materials he uses a wide array of items to convey structures from a different era whether it be a futuristic dystopia or a time that is no more . The destination you are taken to is meant to evoke emotion or question it’s what the tool was made for. Ensuring durability through tension is a reoccurring theme throughout his practice. His work has been shown throughout the greater Chicago area.
